Misti is the most beautiful volcano of the three that surround Arequipa, and it is the emblem of the city. For many arequipeneans reaching the top means offering a small sacrifice to the volcano that protects the city. Although the climb is not difficult, previous acclimation is required as we will surpass the 5800 meters of altitude. At this point the air is so light that even walking takes a lot of effort. This is the reason why we suggest not making this experience if you have not spent at least a night or two in Arequipa. One of the most impressive parts climb to the top, is that from there we have a 360 degree viewpoint. From here you can see the surroundings of the city and the Natural Reserve of Aguada Blanca. Even at times, especially in seasonal changes, you can see the Pacific Ocean in the distance. Durée: 2 jours
