Tablao Flamenco Cordobes pays tribute to one of the most important figures of the flamenco dance, Carmen Amaya, in the anniversary of her death and birth. This gypsy woman was born in the emigrant and gypsy neighborhood Somorrostro in Barcelona. She is the daughter of the dancer ‘La Faraona’ and the guitarist ‘El Chino’. She bent her career from the taverns of the fishing village to the President Roosevelt’s White House. The show is divided in three parts: ‘Lejanas Raíces’, ‘Carmen y su tiempo’ and ‘Lazos flamencos de Andalucía Durée: 90 minutes
