Welcome to the tea room just a one minute walk from Kinkakuji temple, one of the world heritage sites in Kyoto. You'll learn about the spirit of Chado and watch a traditional Japanese tea ceremony performed by a lecturer of Urasenke, which is one of the most famous tea schools in Japan. Traditional Japanese fresh sweets and lunch are served in addition to powdered green tea made in Kyoto. If you'd like, you can also learn how to make your own powdered green tea also.
