The Naadam festival is the main national holiday and the largest and the most popular celebration of Mongolia. Due to its significance, its international audience is increasing year by year. During the festival that lasts three days, tournaments of three traditional Mongolian sports – wrestling, horse racing and archery – take place. The opening ceremony of the festival is the highlight with the performance of dozens of various artists and shows. Almost everyone dresses in their beautiful traditional outfits called “dell”, made in rich colors. Although the major event takes place in Ulaanbaatar, every province and village celebrates Naadam festival in their adopted way. Durée: 3 jours
